Ein Benchmade Griptilian “Grooved”. Das wollten wir schon lange! Problematisch ist die Tasche für den Axislock, der einen groove fast unmöglich macht. Jetzt haben wir es doch umsetzen können. Als Material gabs Zebra G10 in schwarz und weiß.
We´d been thinking about a grooved griptilian for quite a while. Till past friday..we finally made it. The main problem is the axis lock which needs a bunch of space on the inside of the scales, but here we go…based on some Black and White zebra G10.
Mein Breacher Bar ist fertig. Texturierte G10 Schalen in orange mit zusätzlichem Groove für ultimative Griffigkeit. Im vorderen Bereich ist die Schale mit einem Radius für den Daumen versehen. Außerdem ist der Stahl im hinteren Bereich zwecks Schlagfläche ausgespart. Jetzt noch ne Kydex in Orange und ich bin glücklich.
Here we go with my brecher bar. I chose textured G10 for the scales and added a grooved pattern. The orange scales feature a radius on each side for the thumb. The scales are shorter than the bar so a hit won´t damage the scales. Now I need an orange kydex to be happy!
Das Victorinox Huntsman sollten wir für einen guten Freund mit Holz versehen. Ich hatte da noch ein schönes Stück Bloodwood und so sieht´s aus. Wir haben mit Absicht auf Zahnstocher und Pinzette verzichtet, da es in unseren Augen nicht sonderlich gut zum Holz passt. Aber das ist immer Geschmackssache!
A friend of ours asked us to make his Victorinox a bit more noble. We chose a piece of bloodwood we had left for the scales. We think that toothpick and tweezers don´t match the wood so that set of scales do not feature them. But that´s a matter of taste!
Das Leafstorm aus dem Hause Spyderco sollte “crazy” werden, so der Wunsch des Kunden! Da fiel die Wahl auf das letzte Stück Ceraglas. Zudem haben wir den Spacer noch ein Stück verlängert, das Lanyardloch aus der Schale verbannt und die Achse mittels Unterlagscheibe ein bisschen mehr in Szene gesetzt! Voila!
We were asked to machine some crazy scale for Spyderco´s Leafstorm, so we chose the last piece of Ceraglas we had left. We also made the backspacer a bit longer, eliminated the lanyard hole and placed a washer underneath the axis. Voila!

Das Alpha 2 in futuristischem Gewand. Als Material für die Schalen haben wir unser hauseigenes Hybrid verwendet. Auf einen Träger aus Aero Carbon kommt eine Lage Gewebe auf Metallbasis. Ein kleines Highlight sind die Flanken der Schalen, die die unverkennbare Carbonstruktur aufweisen. Daneben zeichen sich die Schalen durch eine besonders Hohe Widerstandsfähigkeit aus.
Pohlforce´s Alpha 2 meets the future. We machined the scales from our own hybrid. It´s Aero Carbon with an aramid top sheet. Have a closer look on the scales´sidewalls. These feature the distinctive carbon fibre pattern. In addition to a great look the scales are extremly tough, which is a result of the metall based top sheet!
Heute kam mein EOD Robotics “Breacher Bar”. Danke nochmal an Adam für das tolle Geschenk. Der kleine Brecher wurde nach den Anforderungen von Polizei, SWAT und ATF entwickelt und aus 1045 Kohlenstoffstahl gefertigt. Das Teil ist 215mm lang und 5mm stark. Aktuell trägt es noch eine Paracord Wicklung, aber wenn sowas bei uns landet, dann bekommt es einen Griff! Wer mehr sehen will, der sollte sich das Update zum Breacher Bar in den kommenden Tagen nicht entgehen lassen.
Today is received my EOD Robotics breacher bar. Thanks Adam!!! Based on input from police, SWAT and bomb techs EOD developed that useful bar. Made of 1045 high carbon steel the 215mm long and 5mm strong tool is more than a great gadget for everybody who needs a tool for prying, cutting and pounding. It still features a paracord wrapping but if sth like this is at cuscadi´s it will feature a solid handle as soon as possible. Stay tuned for updates!
Das 2. Buck Strider, das unsere Werkstatt verlassen hat. Diesmal ohne den reshape der Klinge. Dafür mit 4mm Scales mit aggressivem Groove. Diesmal ohne Öl für den “tough and rough” look.
This is the second Buck Strider we modified. This time without a blade reshape but with 4mm scales. The scales feature a raw groove for a more “tough and rough” like look.

Oberland Arm´s CT1 was stratling. With its new fractional grooved cf micarta scales it´s causing an outrage!
Das aus der Feder von Dietmar Pohl stammende CT1 von Oberland Arms hat einen neuen Look bekommen. Die Micarta Schalen mussten Holz weichen. Genauer gesagt einer stabilisierten Buche. Nennt man das natürliche Auslese?

Nach Custom kommt Personalisieren. So haben wir den “rangers lead the way” Slogan schon in die ein oder andere Schale gearbeitet. Das SNG unseres italienischen Kunden sollte eine Aero Carbon Schale mit passender Codeline bekommen. Haben wir gemacht und hier ist es!
Custom vs. ID. That´s the reason for a few “rangers lead the way” scales we machined before. The SNG scale for our italian customer got an aero carbon scale and a codeline matching the owner. We did it and here we go.
Was BM610″Rukus” haben wir mit einer einteiligen Schale aus unserem Aero Carbon versehen. Zudem wurde der Clip durch einen deutlich strafferen ersetzt und mit einer Titanscheibe fixiert. Und weil wir so in Fahrt waren, haben wir dem Messer noch beidseitig Tritium spendiert. Und jetzt heißt es einfach Ti-CFH3.
While working on Benchmade´s 610 Rukus our customer asked for a few things: 1 piece aero carbon scale: check. stronger clip: check. tritium on both sides: check. Now we call it “Ti-CFH3″.
